The Slovenian National Anthem

Commemorating the Independence of Slovenia June 25, 1991

Zive naj vsi narodi                     Ki hrepene dock at dan.           Da koder sonce hodi            Prepir iz sevta bo pregnan.       Ko rojak prost bo vsak              Ne vrag, le sosed bomejak.       Ko rojak prost bo vsak              Ne vrag, le sosed bo mejak.

God's blessing in all nations     Who long and work for that bright day.                                   When o're earth's habitations    No war, no strife shall hold it's sway.                                   Who long to see that all men are free                                        No more shall foes but neighbors be.

Welcome-izreči dobrodošlico:

LETTER FROM PRESIDENT  (Back to Top )

The partnership between Bethlehem, PA. UNITED STATES, and MURSKA SOBOTA, Slovenia, in EUROPE, is the result of many years of continued friendly relationship between the Slovenian-Americans in Bethlehem, most of whose ancestors came from Slovenia's Murska Sobota Prekmurje (Prake-MOOR-ya) area, and relatives, friends still living in Slovenia. The BMSSCA, celebrated it's tenth year in existence in 2006, invites all who share in the Slovenian-American heritage to join us as our membership continues to grow in the twenty-first century.
